Browns Cash & Carry (Maseru) And Maseru Cash & Carry Upgrading (2023)

Contracted by Massmart Pty Ltd (South Africa) to do full Fire Installation, Upgrading of Steel Structure and Upgrade all Services to allow Certificate of Compliance to international standards.

Work at each site included:

Fire Installation: Installation of 2 x 340 m3 fire tanks per site on special civil foundations, including full fire prevention sprinkler system, fire detection system, fire louvres and automatic duplicate pump container.
Repair and upgrade existing steel structures by inserting beams, trusses, bracing and sag bars.
Upgrading full electrical including D.B. boards and reticulation, all plumbing, glazing etc. for issuing of COC Certificates.
All work had to be completed to strict Health & Safety standards while the stores remained open for trading.
Contract duration: 8 months.

Recent project for Ministry of Works consisting of Bulk Earthworks Platform with retaining wall, Office Block, Canteen, Conference Room, Charge Office, Workshop & Parking. Services included, Data Installations, Standby Generator, Security Systems & Water Tower.

Mamohato’s Children Centre for Sentibale – Prince Harry Foundation

This high profile contract was constructed under the close supervision of Prince Harry for his foundation with regular site visits. Construction included a double storey Dining Hall, Kitchen, Classrooms, Clinic, Offices Dormitories and Staff Housing. A full Photovoltaic roof was imported and installed over the Dining Hall to provide the required electricity. A borehole with water tower as well as a fully contained sewer system was installed. Siteworks included Fencing, Guard House and a soccer field with embankments.

Lesotho Sun Refurbishment.

This prestigious fast track project required a major renovation to the hotel for Sun International including 156 rooms and suites, reception and public areas, conference rooms, back of house areas, swimming pool, casino, kitchen and restaurant, upgrading of water, sewer, electrical reticulation as well as the mechanical installation.
The project was completed in the scheduled 7 months during which time the hotel remained open for guests.

Thaba Bosiu Cultural Village

7650m2 Cultural village consisting of a Museum, Restaurant, Amphitheatre, Reception Building, Conference Hall, 41 Chalets and 55 various Basotho huts depicting changes over time. Natural finishes were required including sandstone walls, thatch roofs and Cemcrete finishes throughout.
